Block 70 – Bows

img_20161013_155743.jpgThe pattern for this block calls for 17 pieces for each quadrant.  Or rather, 68 pieces for the entire 6″ block.  Some of the pieces in here are 1/2 of 1 square inch!  I combined the center block with 2 of the triangles so I did cut out a few of the tiny ones.  Unfortunately, I didn’t realize later that the idea was that the middle part was cut out of a contrasting fabric on some people’s blocks.  Darn it; I would’ve done that.  But I’m not bothered enough to do this one over.  This one sure wasn’t one that can be done in an hour – but I did at least get it done in a day.
