TX quilt shows

I came across this today for any Texans (or anyone who’s up for a road trip) who are interested in upcoming quilt shows across the state the rest of this year – http://www.quiltersresources.net/quiltshows_tx.html .

I also finished cutting out the other pieces for a POTC block.  I bought a fat quarter of another fabric that has this identical pattern but the fabric color is slightly different, so I’m planning to switch the teal and white, as well as pick up a 3rd pattern that is also in this fabric.

In the meantime, I’m still circling around the stained glass quilt and getting in more than the “15 minutes per day” of practice.

  1. That sounds like a lot of miles for one day – how long will that take you? Last year we were traveling for the holidays and drove 17 hours in one day – I can’t recommend that!

    Love the material’s pattern. 🙂

    1. Thank you! As it turns out, one of the employees in the LQS also enjoys EPP so when I showed her a picture of what I was working on, she said “I know just the fabric for you!” The 1:1 help they provide is priceless.
