Posey Quilts grand opening!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Posey Quilts has officially opened its doors and is ready for business!  We literally just finished up the website redesign which means many of the products are still being added (that’s a manual process, adding them each individually) but we at least have a start.

We are starting off by selling digital quilt designs for computerized long armers. My goal is to have 1500 unique designs in there and I’m working to draw them as fast as I can.  I also plan to offer precuts using Accuquilt dies I have.  This can cover anything from

  • 40″ strips in any width from 1″ to 6″ (great for anyone who has arthritis, lack of time, etc.)
  • traditional squares, half square triangles, quarter square triangles, etc. for traditional piecing in sizes from 1″ all the way to a 12″ square
  • 5″ Greek letters – Σ, Θ, Δ – you get the idea
  • English alphabet in both large and small letters
  • a wide variety of flowers
  • 2 sizes of the double wedding ring quilt
  • tumblers
  • all sorts of geometric shapes such as circles in all sizes, parallelograms, diamonds, etc.
  • Christmas stocking die
  • and lots more!

If you like sewing but cutting is an issue, let me know because there’s a good chance I have the die for it so it’s just a matter of finding out what fabric you want and the quantity.  These are super fast to do so the cost will be almost entirely fabric (pre-fused for applique pieces) and postage with just a small uplift to cover the time to cut it. It is just a way to get our name out there right now. You could literally have an entire quilt cut!

Then in 2019 we will begin selling laser cut quilt kits. I realized we couldn’t do all this at once so there will be a delay getting this started but I think it will be worth the wait.

And to sweeten the deal, if you use the coupon code – grandopening – then everything you buy during the month of October is 25% off.

But wait! There’s more! If you happen to be someone or know someone who has the software to design digital quilting patterns and ever wondered if you could make money selling them, then I would love to talk to you.  We will be offering a generous reimbursement program to anyone who is interested.  What we need are original designs available in a zipped file which covers all the different machine types (this is built into most software packages for this already) and will work with you to promote your designs on our page to maximize visibility. Feel free to drop me an email at contact@poseyquilts.com for more info on that.

And with that, picture a big red ribbon across a door being cut…. Posey Quilts is now open for business at https://poseyquilts.com!

  1. Nanette, the link is not working. I get a page that reads “Coming Soon”. I just though you should know.

    1. Texas Quilting says:

Is that going directly to poseyquilts.com or is that a submenu within the site? I called our web design team and they haven’t been able to replicate your issue (everything looks “live” to them). If you happen to know if you were on a desktop vs. mobile device and what browser you are using that would be a bonus. Thanks for the info!

  2. Congratulations and good luck.
