baby quilt
The son’s math teacher is expecting her first child, a girl. I thought it would be nice to give her a baby quilt for Christmas. I like the colors in this because it’s bright and cheery! I thought a chevron quilt had enough interest in it to keep a baby’s interest.
Lemoyne star
The daughter has asked for “a purple quilt” for Christmas. I’m testing out colors and block styles. This is one I’m considering. I’m not crazy about it personally; she wanted it all the same color in the star and that color seems more like “wine” than purple to me.
9″ Qube
9 inch blocks seems just right – not too big, not too small. I would’ve like to had the 12″ blocks also but those are a lot more expensive and I’m not sure I need them immediately with everything else going on.
