Christmas is coming!

Our internet went out yesterday and it will be at least 2 days before it’s fixed due to the weekend so hopefully I won’t have too many misspellings… I’m on my phone. That means the obvious probably won’t line up.

It’s been a pretty exciting week! I wanted to have a minimum amount of sales of the digital quilt patterns before starting phase 2 of Posey Quilts. I anticipated that would be 2919 but by the first week of December I was ready to roll it out. I added a second laser cutter and got set up with Moda and Therm O Web which means I now have a *lot* of fabric and adhesive backing! 😉

I am starting with last cut letters, monograms, and short phrases such as Merry Christmas which can be cut in pretty much any color.

In the meantime, I wrapped up a quilt that will be gifted next week to a college graduate whose father passed away and uses his dress shirts in it. This one was a challenge because it uses fabrics of cotton, several knits, and everything in between.

I have 2 wall hangings and a quilt to finish by the 23rd – ack!

Oh Congratulations! I remember when we were both asking “Now what?” nearly two years ago, and looked at how God has moved us on to wonderful new paths! 🎉

Kathy, you can’t believe how many times I’ve thought of that same thing! My 2019 goal is to set aside time every day for blogs.

  3. Beautiful gift.
