I signed up for the machine quilting block party that Leah Day is selling on her website.  Basically that means that each month she’ll post a block with instructions on how to piece it and a template for quilting it also.

I’ve never done a “quilt as you go” before because I have a Sweet Sixteen so the size of a quilt isn’t really a constraint for me.  Her style of quilting is quite a bit different from mine though, so I thought learning some new techniques sounded like a great idea.
